Crowne Plaza | Zero Food Waste

The Zero Waste Breakfast Initiative repurposes leftover bread, fruits, and vegetables from the breakfast buffet into new dishes, smoothies, and soups. Additionally, excess stock is donated to Stichting Dynamo to prepare meals for the community. Any remaining food waste is sent to a nearby farm to feed pigs, ensuring minimal waste and maximum sustainability.

This project tackles themes of circular economy, waste reduction, and climate adaptation. The impact is measured by the reduced amount of food waste and the successful repurposing of leftovers. The project is sustainably executed by utilizing all food resources efficiently and supporting local farming.
